“Boku no My Hero Academia” Holding it Down

Wow its truly been a slow past couple of months in gaming lately. Nothing stands out to fill in the blanks while we wait for highly anticipated titles such as Anthem and Red Dead Redemption 2. Luckily for me I have more than one hobby under my belt to lean on in times of a long drought.

I guess after you viewed the title you guessed anime as one such hobby of mine I lean on often. For me its a good chance to catch up on various series I’ve neglected once I entered full gaming mode. Fortunately during this particular gaming lapse in worthy titles, I found Boku no My Hero Academia, a Japanese superhero manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi.

So you may wonder why? this title out of all current and past anime in circulation to date. Well lets just start by saying I feel motivation to move and exercise every episode I watch, literally. The characters are splendid to say the least and all the elements I adore are embedded within it’s story. Action, humor, character development are just some of the reasons why I keep coming back.

Also without giving away any spoilers lets just say Izuku and All Might have a relationship that promotes potential real life scenarios that are in short supply, such as mentoring, determination and hard work.

Interested? Well jump on over to your favorite place you watch Anime and dig in. You wont be disappointed.
