Hello, I’m back for a quick review. I’ve been busy with life and everything so to let people know I’m still around and still creating articles I decided to make a Fallout 4 Nuka World DLC review. Now lets get into it!
The first thing I want to discuss is the story. To me the story gets a 4/10 — the reason being is it doesn’t make sense. You either help raiders or save slaves so it really has no plot. Also, they left out key plot points from Far Harbor — for example in Far Harbor, Dima asks you questions about your past and says that you could be a synth, and that was a big plot to give even more questions about your character, but it seems in Nuka World where they could have finally answered the question or have continued it, they just seemed to just throw the big question away.if your a synth or not. My biggest reason is there aren’t many fun quests to do. Yes that’s right — there’s not much fun quests to do in Nuka World like in Automatron and Far Harbor. No, in this DLC you just do simple stuff which makes it boring. Yeah you do a lot of it for the weapons, but what’s it worth getting the weapons if you cant do fun quests.
I’m going to give the weapons a 7/10. My reasoning for this is there are a lot of fun weapons to mess around with such as the paddle ball and the thrist gun which have pretty neat upgrades. Yet there are simple weapons that aren’t much fun like the splattercaster.
As for the characters — they get a 5/10 from me. There aren’t many new followers with interesting stories. Longfellow is much more interesting then the character you get in Nuka World.
Finally, last but not least, I give Nuke World’s map an 8/10. The reason being is because its much more majestic and there are a lot of interesting places to discover.
All in all, this is a decent DLC. Nothing special, but it has it’s moments.
